Exciting times are here for online fashion!
After the phenomenal success of Fashion’s Night Out in September, Vogue UK is stepping it up a notch by launching a shiny new version for online retailers. With the creation of Fashion’s Night In, Vogue once again displays the penchant for thinking futuristic and being ahead of the game. We all know online fashion retailers are taking over and regardless of the downsides of online shopping, they just might be the future of fashion.
So here’s the scoop on this exciting event taking place on Monday 1st November, from 5pm through till midnight. It’s featuring eight major online retailers, including my all time favourites, Asos and Net-a-porter.
There will be launches of new collections from that night, special offers and discounts, one-off designer collaborations, styling tips and advice, competitions, goodie bags and bespoke films. With Asos, you get to win hourly prizes and My wardrobe will be giving out expert styling tips via live twitter feed on the site. The best part for me is that the retailers will be giving away part of the proceeds from the night to KidsCo. We all love fashion with a conscience.
